We’d like to preface this weeks Best Tracks of the Week list by saying that Black Lives Matter. We stand with the Black communities that have been oppressed for so long and stand behind the fight against racism and injustice. Many of the tracks we feature would not have existed, if it wasn’t for the Black communities that created genres of music like Disco, Funk and House. Please consider donating to a Black Lives Matter fund here. Thank you.

It’s our third instalment of our Best Tracks of the Week series, so buckle up and enjoy some of the best tracks we’ve found for you to enjoy.

Cobalt Road – One of These Nights (ft. Seth Nova)

Floridian-based producer, Cobalt Road has teamed up with Seth Nova to establish a 80s-esque power ballad that’s fit for purpose. Listening to this track really makes you feel like you’re inside Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, tuned into Fever 105.

ev.exi & Rhodes Rodosu – Stellae

One of Future Funk’s most established artists is back with a bang. ev.exi and Rhodes Rodosu have combined to create one of the sweetest tracks of the year so far, implementing luscious basses and fluent drum patterns. Hopefully this is a glimpse of something much, much bigger to come.

deadmau5 & The Neptunes – Pomegranate

Usually known for his more Electro-based tunes, deadmau5 collaborated with The Neptunes on this particularly funky sounding track. Could this be a potential sound of the summer? We definitely hope so.

thru. – aaa

thru. is a relatively unknown producer that has recently burst onto the scene with their choppy Future Funk tracks that really seem to pack a punch. ‘aaa’ which is taken off thru.’s first EP, is a magnificent composition from start to finish. The track is also available for a free download too.

Boys Noize – Mvinline

We wasn’t expecting this. Boys Noize is usually known for his analog sounds and Techno bangers, but just recently he released a Disco House track on Defected Records and its safe to say that this is a solid tune. Is this an avenue that Boys Noize is looking to navigate down in the future? Who knows. We’ll definitely keep our eyes peeled for anything particularly groovy coming from him.

Mickey Valen – Ur Perfect I Hate It (ft. Emilia Ali) (Lenno Remix)

Finnish producer, Lenno has always provided some of the hottest jams. His latest remix of Mickey Valen’s ‘Ur Perfect I Hate It’ is definitely something worth talking about, with Lenno adapting his signature production on a pristine Nu Disco track for the ages.
